A Briton dressed in simple but not at all sloppy attire was walking along the riverside. He enjoyed days like these--not yet raining and only slightly chilly--and liked to take the opportunity to get outside and take in the "nice" weather.
Approaching the bridge, he noticed a man, fixtated on the water below. Arthur wasn't one to get into peoples' business, but it just seemed odd. He had never seen a person so amused by such a thing before.
He ended up stopping just where the bridge touched the rest of the road, and watched. For several moments, he just stared at the other's back, which made him feel slightly embarrassed for such action. Why was he doing this? It was stupid, and certainly not being like a gentleman.
That is why he got up the courage to say something before taking a few steps onto the bridge.
"'Ello, sir. Nice weather today, yes?"
